Defining moments are unforgettable instances that leave a lasting impact. September 11th, 2001 was one such moment that not only affected me but also shook our entire nation, serving as a profound wake-up call. This event marked the beginning of my personal safety journey, leading me down unexpected paths.

Fast forward to October 2007, another day etched in my memory forever. My ten-year-old daughter narrowly escaped an attempted kidnapping by two men right from our front yard. Shortly after, in April 2008, a devastating phone call informed me of a horrific and violent home invasion experienced by my oldest son, who was 27 years old at the time.

The harrowing reality of almost losing two of my children to evil deeds compelled me to take action. Fueled by a desire to empower and protect women, I established The Women's Shooting Academy, offering education and empowerment both locally and nationally. Over the next decade, my business thrived, and I had the privilege of training countless women across the country.

In April 2017, I faced my own home invasion while being alone, putting into practice everything I had taught over the years. Subsequently, in May 2017, I taught my final class and decided to step away, a decision that held great significance for various reasons, which I'll elaborate on in a powerful testimony to be shared later in a video. I really thought my "retirement" was here to stay, but as you can see, the good Lord has called me back, so here I am.

Aside from teaching personal safety, I find immense joy in pursuing art and engaging in graphic design to assist others with their marketing needs. You can find more about my artistic endeavors on these sites: https://artjustbecause.com/    https://www.helpmehelpher.org/access-plus-design

Today, I stand strong and resolute, with ambitious dreams and visions for Help Me Help Her. I believe that you, visiting this website, are here for a reason, and I'm excited for what lies ahead.

We are always better together.

In Gratitude,

-Vicki

Seventeen years ago, I joined Toastmasters on a dare, not realizing that it would spark a profound passion for public speaking within me. Now, I find myself rarely at a loss for words and capable of striking up conversations with anyone, anywhere.

Whether I'm addressing topics related to safety, discussing hot topic issues, sharing my spiritual journey with the Lord, or any other subject, you can rest assured that I bring my absolute best to the stage, leaving a lasting impact on my audience. Public speaking has become a cherished part of my life, and I continue to embrace every opportunity to engage and inspire others with my "A" game.

Contact me, I'd love to be considered for your next event.
